The Granada Chapter of Phoenix Metro Bicycle Club meets every Sunday at 6:30 AM April thru September, 7:30 AM October thru March, at Granada Park in Phoenix AZ (20th St. and Maryland). Helmets are required, don't forget to bring water!
There's a group for every riders speed- TubbyAZ leads the Pacer 3 group, which averages 15-16 MPH over flat terrain.
It's a pity Mike won't be able to make it (in a corporeal sense, anyway) to the Dreamy Draw ribbon-cutting. :( I'm also not a big fan of Councilperson Stark, so instead of attending this ceremony, I will instead ride the path and use the facilities once they're open - hopefully for many years to come.
One small tribute to Mike: I have made an appointment at Discount Tire at 8:30 on the 7th. :)
