July 3 - Moon Valley Cafe

 

Richard should be back this Sunday, leading the 4's to Joe's Diner. The 3's will be heading up the canal paths to Moon Valley Cafe. It's the July 4th weekend, so wear your yankee doodle-ist jersey!

June 26 - Breakfast Club Biltmore

 

Looks like the 4's and the 3's will be ending up at opposite corners of 24th St. and Camelback Rd this Sunday. Steve will be leading the 4's to Over Easy - Biltmore, and I've picked Breakfast Club - Biltmore. Unless someone has better ideas, I'm all about extending the ride from the park, and making the ride back home/park shorter in the heat..

I went back to the office Tuesday for the first time in 27 months, and the ride home at 4:30 was brutal. Then I remembered I have not ridden home in the summer since 2019. So it should not have been a surprise.

Rush was invited to the first launch of the Space Shuttle Columbia. They wrote this song after returning home to the Great White North. Rock on...

June 19 - Luci's at the Orchard

 

Steve and the 4's are heading to Scramble this week, and as the heat is on, the 3's will be doing a longer ride then stopping at Luci's at the Orchard- which allows us to make a quick escape home after breakfast.

June 12 - Scramble

 

Steve and the 4's will be going south to Panera Bread on Central and Thomas, while I have an eye to going somewhere I can get home from quickly- we have niece and nephews staying overnight and will be wanting to get in the pool. 

Yet another hot hot hot weekend, so let's do a longer ride before going to Scramble, and the trip back home will be mercifully short.

June 5 - Biscuits Cafe

 

Steve and gang are off to The Henry this Sunday, and the 3's are heading to Biscuits Cafe up north on Bell Rd. 

This is one of my favorites from Was (Not Was), not just because it features Frank Jr. as guest vocalist, but as it happens my wife and I were married in Vegas 27 years ago this month. Rock on...
