Upcoming Community Meeting : Roadway Reconfiguration, 3rd Avenue from Osborn to Indian School

Our Street Transportation Department is hosting a virtual community meeting on a proposed roadway reconfiguration. Please help us get the word out.

 

• Where is it proposed:    3^rd Avenue (the Phoenix Sonoran Bikeway) from Osborn to Indian School Road
• When is the meeting:    Thursday, January 21 at 5:30 p.m.

• An informational presentation will also be given at the Encanto VPC meeting on Monday, February 1^st

 

I have included both Encanto and Alhambra VPC members to respect the linear nature of bikeways and to draw your attention to several complementary planning and implementation projects underway.

• Colter Street, 15th Avenue to 20th Street (Planning)
• 3rd and 5th Avenues Improvement Project (North of McDowell Road) (Design)
• Tentative next meeting is Wednesday, February 24 at 6:00 p.m.
